Humble Merchant at Orana

Just moved into the area. Been here almost 2 weeks and this establishment has just become my local. Shakeira and the other lovely friendly ladies that work here are a joy to chat to every day. Highly recommend the fairy bread cookies. In fact all the food looks amazing. Dog friendly do can always treat your pooch to a puppy chino. Any body living in the area should pay a visit.

Really enjoyed this cafe, the ladies have a very friendly vibe, the Reuben toastie my fiance got was delish, my son loved the banana bread and colouring pages available, I loved my veggie toastie. Coffee was great and came with a little freckle biscuit that my son loved. There's a bookshelf full of kids books to read while waiting for your coffee, Good music playing, was very quiet when we came around lunch on a weekday. The playground across the road is very good, nice shaded area for us to bring our toasties take away and water play area which is not in direct sun (in summer I have struggled to find water play that wasn't in a very sunny and hot place unshaded). Some of the playground is gated which gives you peace of mind when you have a very fast toddler who likes to run off, and it's right across the road on a quiet street so safety is great.

Very nice and affordable coffee and food, sweets are really good and not too sweet (almond croissant, banoffee slice, caramel slice). Both ladies do a really good job of making customers feel welcomed and happy. It's a small place located to a great playground and it is kids friendly as well. I will be back for lunch for sure!

Such a beautiful little cafe, with absolutely delicious coffee. The owner remembered I was coeliac from previous online interactions before I moved into the area, so she showed me that she has GF cookies and some other safe takeaway snacks. It’s only a tiny establishment located inside the Orana Community Place, so there’s nothing safe on the actual menu, but they have options for a small snack. Pop in for a coffee and a cookie next time you’re in the Clyde area. There’s a big playground across the road, too!

We recently moved away from the area and we miss Humble Merchant sooooooo much. The coffee - delicious, the toasties - perfect, the vibes - immaculate. Staff always welcoming. A real hidden treasure in Clyde North.

Cute little cafe. Atmosphere is lovely and the ladies are friendly and efficient. My soy latte was good and so was the almond croissant. Unfortunately for me, I didn't really like the cookie of the nutella filled cookie. It was Bland in flavour for me but that's just my taste. I would love to go back and try a few other things. Although the menu is small, the other items look amazing. Overall a great little Cafe and experience. Thanks ladies.

The menu is small but interesting & tasty. We ordered a roast veg salad ($10), vanilla frappacino & avocado toast ($15). Well priced, healthy, very tasty & beautifully presented. The cafe is in a house display village & right across from a fantastic new park that has water play amongst other things. Great for families. Staff are lovely & nothing is too hard!
